Description
Come to Wavre carnival to celebrate with this city, also known as “the City of the Maca”. This event includes a special tradition: the “Maca” (the statue of a boy climbing the wall around the city hall) is given a costume by a selected representative local group.
Saturday is the day of the children’s carnival, in the City Hall function room, and on Sunday at 2pm make sure you’re in the city centre for the start of the procession!
