The Folon Foundation, located just a few minutes from Brussels, was imagined and created by the Belgian artist Jean-Michel Folon who presents some 40 years of his creativity. More than 500 of his works are on display in 15 rooms dedicated to the museum in the La Hulpe Castle farm on the grounds of the gorgeous Solvay Regional Domain.

The exhibit shows multiple facets of Jean-Michel Folon's art: watercolours, silk screens, etchings, posters, re-interpreted objects, stained-glass, sculptures …

In a very original presentation; the museum conducts a surprising tour as the artist opens the book of his life… Walk into this huge book where mirrors are laid out to reflect posters on posters to infinity, unravel the secrets of the workshop and end the visit with "your head in the stars". Films, sound and visual effects enliven the interactive display.

After your visit, enjoy the 227 hectares of the Solvay Regional Domain to wander around the lovely grounds and ponds that are the home of exceptional animal and plant life.

The Folon Foundation organizes at least two temporary exhibits per year in the specially outfitted halls or in the gardens of the Solvay Regional Domain. The objective is to present the work of artists that Jean-Michel Folon is particularly fond of, or with whom he worked or shares a "family of spirit".

To complete the discovery of the museum, the Folon Foundation proposes a large range of educational activities. Young people and groups can take part in inter-generational workshops, family visits, premiere showings for children, and birthdays and other festivities can be organized here.

The Foundation is recognized as an association in the public interest, and it also has a social objective. Profits are transferred to disabled persons. The museum is accessible to persons with a disability and is free of charge for them.
