Located near the Paradis ponds, the municipal swimming pool is a modern, must-visit venue for swimming enthusiasts, families and anyone looking to relax or take part in sporting activities.
The large swimming pool in Braine-l’Alleud comprises several sections:
- Main pool: Ideal for free swimming, lessons and training sessions. (25m long and 21m wide. The depth of the pool may vary depending on the lanes and the activities taking place in the pool.)
- Small Pool: A safe area where children can have fun in complete peace of mind. (Dimensions: 21m by 8.5m, with a depth ranging from 0 to 3m. During certain periods, inflatable structures are provided for the children’s enjoyment.)
- A paddling pool: This area, reserved for the youngest children, varies in depth from 25cm to 40cm and features two slides, as well as fountains and water play features. The water temperature averages 34.5°C.
- Spa area: For those seeking relaxation and well-being, this area offers facilities dedicated to unwinding. It comprises a lagoon, a bubble bath with massage jets, and a sauna and hammam area. The water temperature is approximately 34°C
Special events: The swimming pool regularly organises open days, charity events and special activities for the whole family.
After all that exercise, it’s time to unwind! The Brasserie de la Piscine is open 7 days a week, from 12:00 to 21:30, with the kitchen open all afternoon. It’s the perfect place to grab a bite to eat or have a drink after a swim.
