Description
Overlooking the village of Glabais, Saint-Pierre Church is a building whose origins date back to the Middle Ages.
Although the church has undergone several alterations over the centuries, it retains ancient features that bear witness to its history and the evolution of local religious architecture.
The present building is largely the result of work carried out between the 17th and 19th centuries, whilst its furnishings and funerary monuments serve as a reminder of the central role it has played in the life of the community.
Surrounded by its ancient cemetery and set within the village landscape, the church now stands as a valuable testament to Glabais’s historical and religious heritage.
