Rebecq

Eglise Saint Gery

Description

Initially located on the Grand’Place of Rebecq in Roman Païs, surrounded by its cemetery, the Saint-Géry church was rebuilt in 1867 on the location for the former presbytery by the architect Coulon.

Some interesting pieces can be seen, such as a granite statue of Saint Géry sculpted in 1467, baptismal fonts dating from 1599, and impressive colourful mural frescos from the 19th century, recently restored.
