The Gobertange Stone Interpretation Centre is located on the ground floor of the “Hôtel des Libertés“ (Hotel of Liberties) on the central square in Jodoigne, and shares this space with the reception of the “Maison du Tourisme du Brabant Wallon” (Walloon Brabant Tourist Office).

Come and discover the Gobertange stone, an iconic stone that has been used for 2,000 years throughout Belgium, and even on the Grand-Place in Brussels. Thanks to its collection of local stones and tools, as well as a number of stones from Sainte Gudule Cathedral, the history of Gobertange stone, its quarrying and cutting techniques, its special features and its uses will no longer hold any secrets for you.
