Description
On Monday, May 25, 2026, the “Boucles Impériales” return to Waterloo for a friendly and accessible cycling day for everyone. Departures take place from the Hôtel Waterloo Van der Valk (Chaussée de Tervuren 198) between 9:00 am and 11:00 am, with breakfast available from 8:30 am. Participation fee: €3 per bike (including one drink and one raffle ticket). Breakfast buffet: €7.50 in presale (€8 on site). Registration is mandatory for insurance purposes. Clearly signposted and secured routes include a family loop of 15 to 20 km and a kids’ loop of 5 to 8 km.
Programme:
Participants are welcomed from 8:30 am with breakfast. Free departures between 9:00 am and 11:00 am along a variety of routes through Waterloo and Braine-l’Alleud, combining nature and iconic landscapes. At the finish, enjoy a festive atmosphere with a DJ, food trucks, bouncy castles (weather permitting) and activity stands: bike repairs, road safety awareness and surprises for children. A raffle is included for all participants.
