Description
Genappe carnival is a vibrant burst of colour that’s sure to put a smile on your face. The event first took place in 1990! The carnival procession includes around 30 local floats and bands. There is an egg hunt on the Saturday. The procession takes place on the Sunday, with floats, Gilles (clown-like figures in costume) and other folk groups Monday is devoted to children, and is also the day when the Gilles burn their humps on a bonfire and the final rondeau circle dance.

Saturday 29 March: Ballodrome, rue de la station

Saturday 12 April: Communal plain
- Egg hunt
- 4:00 pm start of the hunt
- For children up to 10 years old. 100 kg of eggs will be distributed!
Sunday 13 April: Pavé Saint Joseph (facing the Sloopy)
- 11h00 Rondeau on the Grand Place
- 3:30 pm departure of the procession
Monday 14 April
