Description
This spring, on Easter Monday, take part in the Saint Veronus military procession in Tubize! The relics of Saint Veronus, patron saint of Lembeek, are carried from one monstrance altar to the next, creating a military procession like those often seen in the Entre-Sambre-et-Meuse region.
The procession leaves from Lembeek and is composed of several groups wearing old uniforms. One of these groups has over a hundred cavalrymen. Very famous in the Roman Païs region, this “military march” attracts curious crowds who come to see the colourful procession.
