Il s’agit d’un réseau cyclable maillé de 1050 km à travers le Brabant wallon, relié aux réseaux existants. C’est un réseau sûr, rapide et sans risque de se perdre. Chaque intersection du réseau est identifiée par un numéro de point-nœud. Les panneaux vous indiquent les points-nœuds les plus proches et la direction à suivre pour les rejoindre.
Pour préparer votre itinéraire, il suffit juste de retenir dans l’ordre la liste des points-nœuds par lesquels vous souhaitez passer et de suivre sur le terrain les balises numérotées.
Découvrez nos boucles touristiques d’une distance de 19 à 38 km. Au verso des fiches, vous trouverez une carte retraçant votre itinéraire et mentionnant les établissements labellisés « Bienvenue vélo » et les parkings mis à votre disposition.

Il fallait une âme soeur au Maca. Des Wavriens ont imaginé une charmante adolescente, la Crapaute. Agréablement installée dans la cour de l'Hôtel de l'Escaille au bord d'une pièce d'eau en forme de nénuphar, elle joue avec un crapaud. Elle est l'oeuvre d'Yvon Mattagne, d'après un dessin de Dominique Pierre.


Dans une petite ruelle, en plein centre-ville,un artisan vous époustouflera par sa conception revisitée de la tartine ! Grâce à ses produits locaux et originaux, les tartines sont toutes plus succulentes les unes que les autres.

Decorated in Parisian style and bedecked with articles and photos, Le Resto d'en Face serves entirely home-made food (except the ice creams) made with fresh ingredients. Even the fries are made on site! Concerts on Wednesdays.


Autrefois couvent des Carmes, ce bâtiment qui dominait le « Marché aux bestes » est, tout comme l’Hôtel de l’Escaille, transformé, le temps du combat, en hôpital de campagne. Aujourd’hui, ce prestigieux édifice abrite les bureaux de l’administration communale, du Syndicat d’Initiative de Wavre et de la Maison du Tourisme des Ardennes brabançonnes.


Ce petit personnage en bronze, escaladant le perron de l'Hôtel de Ville de Wavre, symbolise l'esprit espiègle et frondeur des Wavriens. Créé à l'initiative de Joseph Even et grâce à la coopération des unions professionnelles et du Syndicat d'Initiative, la tradition veut que lui caresser les fesses porte bonheur ! Sculpté par Jean Godart, il a été inauguré le 26 août 1962.

The Maison Demaret now sells over twenty different types of bread, Viennese pastries, patisserie, sweet and savoury tarts, pralines and ice creams. Over the past ten years, the firm has also built up a solid reputation for its wedding cakes. These products are made by teams of pastrycooks and bakers who bring all their traditional skills to bear. The people of Rixensart and the surrounding area have now been served by three generations of the family. From originally being a family concern, the Maison Demaret really took off in the early 2000s, increasing the number of sales points to five, well distributed across Walloon Brabant (Rixensart, Ottignies, Court-St-Etienne, Genappe and Wavre).



The Archery Museum has been set in a tower since 1928 to allow for popinjay (very handy in winter!). This tower has two perches which are the last covered perches still in use in Wallonia.The museum looks back at the use of the bow from prehistoric times up to modern day and the emergence of vertical popinjay as a leisure activity. You will find models of traditional, pulley and Japanese bows as well as different types of arrows.Come and have a go at vertical or horizontal popinjay! All the equipment is provided.

Moored on the peaceful Genval lake like a noble vessel, the Brasserie du Lac is one of the Brabant Wallon region's most popular gourmet addresses. And true to its watery backdrop, Brasserie du Lac also serves fabulous fresh shellfish from its on-site stall, with a choice of 6 families of cupped oyster, 3 families of flat oyster, clams, sea almonds, sea urchins, mussels, scampi and whelks served at the oyster bar or as a platter.
