Join us for one of the seven organised weekends between late May and September 2026.
This 71 km cycle route will take you through the stunning landscapes of the Walloon Brabant countryside. Starting from Villers-la-Ville, you will pass through the countryside and wooded areas. Just a heads-up, Belgium isn’t quite the ‘flat country’ – we recommend using e-bikes for these routes for those not used to uphill cycling 😉
During this unforgettable weekend, you will not have to worry about anything. The ‘Cœur Vigneron’ team will look after you, welcome you at every stop, answer all your questions and offer you unique activities in the heart of the vineyards.
You will also be delighted by meeting the winemakers, passionate experts devoted to their land and their craft. You will have the chance to taste their delicious products and enjoy a lunch amidst the vineyards. Ease into your holiday in true ‘slow’ mode. You will be welcomed at your accommodation on Friday evening, giving you plenty of time to settle in and start the weekend at a relaxed pace!
The three accommodations we have selected for this getaway are truly exceptional, so do not hesitate to enjoy them! And do not worry, when you book, you can request a catered meal to start your evening gently. Prefer dining out? No problem – we have got a few great local restaurant recommendations 😉
For a chic dining experience, head to l’Art des Sens restaurant at Rigenée Golf Club, where you can enjoy a superb view of the green and a delicious à la carte menu.
For a cosy, authentic brasserie vibe, visit the Châlet de la Forêt, just a stone’s throw from Villers-la-Ville Abbey.

Effervescence at the Domaine de Glabais
After a restful night and a hearty breakfast, it is time to get cycling! Set off for the ‘Domaine de Glabais’, just 17 km away, following the cycle node network to reach your destination.
Set within a stunning landscape that rivals Tuscany, ‘Domaine de Glabais’ is where you will discover delightful sparkling wines. Here, you will meet Anne and Christian, a passionate couple known for their warm hospitality. After a visit to the ‘Domaine de Glabais’, you always leave feeling a little different from when you arrived. The simplicity, the desire to do things properly, close ties to farm life and the feminine touch that Anne brings to the world of wine makes us want to return time and again to taste their sparkling wines.
Lunch amongst the vineyards
During this visit, you will have the opportunity to enjoy lunch right in the heart of the vineyards! You will also enjoy a unique experience: Vina Sensa! This activity, developed by Cœur Vigneron, will awaken your senses and surround you with enchanting aromas! And, of course, no vineyard visit would be complete without a tasting… to be enjoyed in moderation, of course 😉
Villers-la-Vigne, a vineyard in the heart of the Abbey
After tasting the fine sparkling wines of the ‘Domaine de Glabais’, continue your journey by bike for 19 km towards Villers-la-Vigne!
Nestled in the heart of the exceptional setting of Abbey of Villers, Villers-la-Vigne is a vineyard unlike any other! Restored during the 1990s, it spans a flat plot and four south-facing terraces, surrounded by stone walls dating back several centuries. The vineyard covers 20 square metres of planted vines. With more than 200 members, the fraternity ‘Confrérie du Vignoble de l’Abbaye de Villers’ work together to maintain the vines, thereby reviving the Abbey’s historic vineyard.
Passionate people!
In addition to being welcomed by a true enthusiast, you will also have the chance to exclusively taste their products. In fact, Villers-la-Vigne’s produce is not distributed commercially and is reserved solely for visitors. What a privilege 😉
A majestic abbey
Of course, while you are in such an exceptional setting, you cannot miss the opportunity to visit the abbey (additional cost)!
Dating back to the 12th century, the Abbey of Villers-la-Ville is listed as an exceptional heritage site of Wallonia—and once you are there, it is easy to see why. With its majestic ruins and lush natural surroundings, it is a peaceful and rejuvenating place. You can also admire the beauty of its five gardens, each designed in a different style. The ‘Jardin des Senteurs’ features a new area along the path dotted with scented flowerbeds: a Meditative Path. Eight panels guide you along the path, inviting you to explore and embrace mindfulness.
More than just wine !
At the Abbey, it is not just about wine culture. There is also a microbrewery run by the Hostieux Monks of the Abbey of Villers. Feel free to pop into the abbey shop to discover their products, or try them at the Abbey Bistro – or why not plan a visit for the future? 😉
A night in the heart of nature
Whether you are staying at the ‘Gîte du Châtelet’, the ‘Domaine des Trois Tilleuls’ or the ‘B&B Les Autres Sens’, you will be charmed by these exceptional accommodations nestled in the heart of nature.
For this second evening, you are once again free to do as you please! Do not hesitate to contact your hosts, who will be happy to recommend local restaurants or catering options.
Day 2
The ‘Domaine du Chapitre’ – a real gem !
After another peaceful night’s sleep and a royal breakfast, we set off again, this time towards Baulers, near Nivelles, to explore the ‘Domaine du Chapitre’. The journey is an easy and scenic 16 kilometre ride, following mainly the peaceful RAVeL cycle path.
The ‘Domaine du Chapitre’ vineyard was born from a diversification of the family farm. Originally focused on livestock and cereal crops, the farm gradually replaced the cereals with vines from 2013 onwards. Today, the vineyard remains 100% family-run and independent, with the farm being gradually passed down from the parents, Etienne and Annie, to their children, Guillaume and Bertrand. Every step of production is carried out by the family, from tending the vines to bottling the wine. Here, we are in the presence of true artisan winemakers.
Over the years, they have earned numerous awards at some of the most prestigious wine fairs and competitions!
Vina Siesta
You will have the chance to enjoy a tour of the facilities, a tasting and lunch. And afterwards, who has not dreamed of taking a nap in such beautiful surroundings? Thanks to Vina Siesta, it is possible! A unique concept, created by Cœur Vigneron. We will not say any more – we would not want to spoil the surprise 😉
Still in the mood for more cycling?
If you have not had your fill of cycling yet, we suggest continuing on towards Nivelles and Braine-le-Château. This lovely additional loop of 23 km takes you through the charming countryside of Bornival and along the old Brussels–Charleroi canal. An idyllic ride that is well worth the extra kilometres!

The final chapter
As they say, all good things must come to an end! After your visit to the ‘Domaine du Chapitre’ or perhaps the bonus loop, it is time to head back to your accommodation…

Nestled in the heart of nature at Villers-la-Ville, this estate offers a range of accommodation options: a fully equipped guesthouse for 2 people, and rustic cabins with stunning views, accommodating 2 to 4 guests.
- The Castle Guesthouse features a bedroom with a double bed and a bathroom
- The rustic cabins have a bathroom, as well as:

This comfortable cottage offers the tranquillity of untouched nature, and can accommodate up to 6 people. It features:

Located near the foot of the vineyards in Sart-Dames-Avelines, B&B ‘Les Autres Sens’ offers two comfortable guest rooms for 2 to 4 people, along with a heated swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna.
The establishment features two rooms:
- ‘Chambre Jardin’, situated on the first floor, with a stunning view of the vineyards, accommodating 2 guests.
- ‘La Chambre Cour’, also on the first floor, offers a countryside view, has a balcony and can accommodate 4 guests (one double bed and two single beds).
